Originally from El Paso, Stormy Hayes-Knipe has called Houston home for more than 25 years. After graduating from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) with a BFA in Marketing and Communications, Stormy worked as a national sales planning manager for Fox Sports. Later, as a marketing manager with KPMG on a top national sales team, Stormy went on to achieve several awards including an award for volunteer excellence.

In Houston, Stormy is heavily involved in the community and neighborhood associations, as well as her children’s schools and sports. Previous volunteer organizations include Children’s Museum on Houston, Museum of Fine Arts, WULL Auxiliary, WUSA Board, Mark Twain PTO, and BPHA Home Tour Chair. Volunteer work remains an important part of Stormy’s everyday life, and she is currently active in various organizations including Pershing PTO, Lamar PTO, Lamar Booster Club, Stella Link Campus Park Board, and Junior League Sustainer plus continued contributor to BPHA events and Fathers and Flashlights. Stormy, her husband Chad, son, Zane and daughter, Lilly live in the Braes Heights area.
